Alice Peragine

Alice Peragine (*1986) studied Fine Arts and Art History at University of Greifswald and Time-based Media at Hochschule für Bildende Künste, Hamburg with semesters abroad at Dutch Art Institute, Arnhem and San Francisco Art Institute.
Peragine’s performances and mixed-media installations are aesthetic experimental arrangements. The particular elements refer to control and monitoring mechanisms as well as the effects of digitization on individual bodies.
Recent shows (selection): Kunsthalle Baden-Baden (solo 2020); feldfünf e.V. Berlin (2020); Kunstverein Dresden (solo 2019); Et al, San Francisco (2018); Neues Museum, St. Petersburg (2017). Peragine has been part of the research project Dear Humans at TU Dresden (2017- 2019) and is a Villa Romana Fellow 2020.
