Felix Stenger, born in Munich in 1990, studied theatre studies, philosophy and German philology in Berlin. Since 2021 he has been a research assistant at the DFG Research Training Group 2638 Normativity Critique Change at the FU Berlin, where he is doing his doctorate on forms of aesthetic alienation at the interface of contemporary theatre, performance and exhibition art. He is particularly interested in affirmative approaches to the aesthetics of the avatar, reification and fusion in works by Susanne Kennedy, THE AGENCY, Barbara Lenartz, Theresa Reiwer and Pierre Huyghe.
