Jeremiah Day lives and works in Berlin. He studied art at the University of California, Los Angeles and the Rijksakademie van beeldende kunsten in Amsterdam. He was also a scholarship holder at the Graduate School of the Berlin University of the Arts (2015/16). In 2017, he completed his doctorate at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. He has collaborated frequently with his former mentor Simone Forti, a pioneer of postmodern dance, and the author Fred Dewey. Day's installations, performances and lectures have been shown at Badischer Kunstverein, Karlsruhe (2020), KW Institute for Contemporary Art, Berlin (2017), Museum of Modern Art, Warsaw (2016), Centre for Contemporary Art, Glasgow (2016) and Centre Pompidou, Paris (2014) a.o.
