Ingrid Burrington

Ingrid Burrington researches, writes, and makes maps of places, politics, and the weird feelings people have about both. She's the author of Networks of New York: An Illustrated Field Guide to Urban Infrastructure. Her writing has appeared in The Atlantic, e-flux journal, The Nation, and other publications. She has been an artist in residence at Data and Society Research Institute and lead researcher at the Institute for Near Futures, Research, and Art (INFRA). She lives on a small island off the coast of America.
