Jakob Braito (*1992 Vienna) lives and works in Munich. He studied Technology & Management at the Technical University of Munich and is currently pursuing a second degree in Olaf Nicolai’s class for sculpture and three- dimensional space at the Academy of Fine Arts Munich. In his artistic practice, he often works at the intersection of sculpture, sound and performance. Since 2016 he is co-running the Munich-based community radio Radio 80000 and initiated and curated interdisciplinary projects such as PARA (2021), among others. Since 2019 he is part of the student collective Dynamisch Akustische Forschung (DAF), which was established under the direction of Jan St. Werner in Nuremberg. He is currently living in Karlsruhe on a visiting fellowship.
