K2020 core team
Lennart Boyd Schürmann (*1994, London) develops his philosophical practice in the fields of theatre, philology and contemporary art. In his research and as a founding member of the artist initiative ‘K’, he investigates gestural repertoires of togetherness and their implicit ontological models. While studying philosophy, science of religion, history, art theory and law in Berlin, Karlsruhe and Paris he began to regularly publish and teach both within and outside of academic institutions. Since 2016 he has been working for and with Trajal Harrell, and is currently focusing on his own theatrical practice within the directing program at the Otto Falckenberg Schule.
