Panja Göbel is a German transmedia artist based in London. Her practice focuses on the entangled human-machine relationships arising from our current networked world. With a particular focus on experimental wearables and augmenting the body, she makes use of electronics, circuitry and custom interactive systems in order to create installations, wearable art and mixed reality experiences that create a dialogue between the audience and the machine. She holds a Masters in Computational Arts (Distinction) from Goldsmiths, University of London and is an Arts Council England DYCP recipient. Panja judged the Digital Design category at the D&AD 2012 and the Fashion Moves category at ASVOF 2021. Panja is a lecturer at Kingston University London, Trondheim Academy of Fine Art, University of the Arts Linz and recently at Shared Campus (KIT Trondheim, LASALLE Singapore, ZHDK Zurich).
