Lisa Britzger

Lisa Britzger studied cultural studies and aesthetic practice in Hildesheim and has been working curatorially since 2005 as a member of the curator:innekollektiv a7.ausstellungen, as assistant curator at the Kunstverein Munich, and as director of the Kunstverein Hildesheim. From 2016 to 2018, she co-directed the Kunstverein Harburger Bahnhof in Hamburg with Jennifer Smailes and Annette Hans. She realizes projects with individual artist:s and time and again with groups such as Galerie BRD, COPS (Corporation of people's situations) or K Hybrid. In her curatorial practice she focuses on processual and context-specific projects, artistic research, the lintersection of artistic production, presentation and discourse, as well as collaborative and communal theories and practices. Since January 2020 she is curatorial director of the municipal art space Lothringer 13 Halle in Munich.
