The talk show MEN IN TROUBLE follows a host through highlights and disasters of her own show in six episodes. Guests who are unwilling to talk, a director who lets them down and, above all, the attempt to deal with the really big issues: Happiness, love, money, beauty, sex and faith. Shot on the set of Jovana Reisingerʼs eponymous exhibition MEN IN TROUBLE at Kunsthalle Osnabrück, the performance deconstructs the talk show format. Jovana Reisinger uses the language of television, adopts its stylistic devices and leads them ad absurdum. The result is an exaggerated portrayal of an internationally enforced television format, with feminist slogans, a bright pink studio ( Design Set and Installation: Katharina Pia Schütz) and an unpredictable presenter.
