Talya Feldman

Talya Feldman ist eine Medienkünstlerin aus Denver, Colorado. Sie erwarb ihren MFA an der Hochschule für bildende Künste Hamburg und ihren BFA an der School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Durch ihre interkulturelle und kollaborative Praxis schafft Feldman einen sozialen Wandel durch künstlerische und pädagogische Projekte, die alternative und wiederherstellende Narrative zur Gewalt anbieten. Für ihre Arbeiten gegen den rechten Terror in Zusammenarbeit mit aktivistischen und forschungsbasierten Netzwerken in Deutschland und im Ausland hat sie
weltweite Anerkennung erhalten. Feldman erhielt zahlreiche Auszeichnungen, darunter 2023 den Bundespreis für Kunststudierende in Deutschland, 2022 den Berenberg Kulturpreis, 2021 den Stipendienpreis des Deutschen Akademischen Austauschdienstes (DAAD) und 2021 den DAGESH-Kunstpreis für ihre Soundinstallation "The Violence We Have Witnessed Carries a
Weight on Our Hearts" im Jüdischen Museum in Berlin.
