Ana Dragić

Ana Dragićs interdisziplinäre Praxis ist in einem autoethnografischen Ansatz verwurzelt, der das Leben und Arbeiten im Nachkriegskontext des ehemaligen Jugoslawiens untersucht. Sie interessiert sich für neo-koloniale, umstrittene Landschaften, in denen menschliche und nicht-menschliche Natur, Erzählungen und Vermächtnisse oft aufeinandertreffen. Ihre Forschung befasst sich mit der (Un)Kontinuität und (De)Konstruktion von Erinnerung und untersucht die Zentrum-Peripherie-Dynamiken, Räume, Bewegungen und Beziehungen, die sie (mit)gestalten. Ihre laufende Forschung The Unseen Dance untersucht die Lücke zwischen den eigenen Bewegungen und gesellschaftlich-politischen Bewegungen als Material für choreografische und kuratorische Explorationen. Indem sie über Choreografien des zeitgenössischen Lebens und deren Erosion reflektiert, versteht sie den Körper als Agenten der Heilung. Dragić war 2024 Stipendiatin des Eastern European Network Program an der Akademie Schloss Solitude in Stuttgart.
