Valerio Tricoli

Valerio Tricoli ist Komponist und Performer elektroakustischer Musik.

Seit den späten 1990er-Jahren aktiv, sind seine Hauptinstrumente bei Live-Auftritten Tonbandgeräte, die als vollständig analoge Geräte für Live-Sampling und Echtzeit-Transformation von Klängen eingesetzt werden.

Seine Konzerte konzentrieren sich auf die spontane Schaffung einer Erzählung, die die vielfältigen Beziehungen zwischen Realität, Virtualität und Erinnerung während des akustischen Ereignisses berücksichtigt: Die Klänge bewegen sich stets zwischen dem „Hier und Jetzt“ der Konzertsituation und dem diffusen Bereich der Erinnerung – fern und zugleich präsent, wie in einem Déjà-vu-Erlebnis.
